Dr. Frankenstein and his monster are in awe; Igor is jealous. (I was just reading Sir Terry Pratchett’s ‘Snuff’ about the Igors and Igorinas who are surgeons and forensic scientists . . . my own synchro.)

Definitely the “distracted boyfriend”. If the meme has penetrated this far, it must be pretty much over.

It was so obviously the Distracted Boyfriend that I caught that before even seeing the second hunchback. Even with both Frankensteins (Doctor and Monster) playing the role of the boyfriend, which could have confused the matter, with a less well defined meme.

A parody of the Distracted Boyfriend meme should have exactly three characters to be recognizable as such. Four characters makes it difficult to recognize as the meme.

A modern “weird stuff” Far Side inspired panel cartoon doesn’t have consistent logic?

    I’m shocked!

Well, for my two cents I wasn’t aware there was a specific meme but I figure hump envy was clear enough as it was.

I agree with Joshua K. I figured that’s what they were going for, but the characters should be in the same places and there should only be 3.
