Is “savage” a noun, or a verb ?
“I forget the pain (in my ear), you savage (your ear)”.
Double entendre, maybe.
as a verb, savage is transitive, so it needs an object, so in the cartoon, it doesn’t work as a verb.

OT larK : that scrape-thingy you had set for the former CIDU site was very, very useful to me : I miss it already.
I was going to wait until Bill updated the DNS and see if it would just start working again on its own, but I couldn’t wait, so I changed the it to the new temp address and updated the few differences two days ago, so it’s back to collecting comment links…
