   Well, it’s the tin woodsman. He’s been compacted.

   He may have lost his mechanical heart, but he still has the hearts of the 23 people he “reclaimed” before he got sent to the cubing chamber.

   Larson admitted that many of his comics were not really funny, just weird things that popped into his head. The Tin Woodsman is metal, and this is Al’s Metal Compacting, so what if they accidentally compacted the Tin Woodsman? I think the heart that Oz gave him fell out so we’d see it and have some clue who that is.

   And that’s not funny to you? You just think that is weird and don’t see why that’d be humorous? Seems pretty clearly worthy of the label “joke” to me.

   Would it have been funnier if it were “Ozzie’s Metal Compacting”? Or is that overkill?

   Pretty much a LOL once you get it. Brian in STL is right — I would have gotten it faster if it was “Ozzie’s”.

   Of course, single panel comments always have their stories compacted.
