Two major dairies have gone bankrupt, so that accounts for the first realistic part of the comment; the second part is absurd and makes it funny[?].
I thought a search might find Lois Holstein as a personal name. But it was Lois’s Holstein, a cattle company.
Not just dairies, folks (other folks, not me) are eating plant-based faux-meat products with their soy “milk”.
I thought the ‘novels’ part was maybe a reference to Charlotte’s Web. Bigger animal, longer message. Eh, it’s all I’ve got.
Is it possible this has to do with the book called Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type? It’s the only book I buy for relatives’ and friends’ kids.
