I checked the schedule for the next couple of days and – yes – there is “Christmas at Graceland” coming up a couple of days from now.
I did this so no one else has to endure looking at the channel. That which I have seen cannot be unseen.
Looks like no one watches it. I watched a few movies there a few years ago, until I realized they are the romance novels of TV — not much substance.
Hallmark Christmas movies are a guilty pleasure for some. My wife loves them, and I will admit to watching a few. There are a few drinking games posted online because a lot of them tend to share a few similar plot points, such as big city girl has to go to a small town for Christmas (usually for work) where she falls in love with small town guy (usually an ex boyfriend or a single dad). Her first name is often Christmas related (Joy, Holly, etc). Plots are fairly predictable. There are a few actresses who have done many Hallmark movies, so you have to take drink if one of them is the star as well.
I know they play them in the summer (Christmas in July type things), but I don’t think they play all year long.
There’s always streaming & On Demand cable.
Last year I found Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. Seemed like a great channel, they did Monk and Psych marathons, among other things. A little too aggressive about bleeping “bad” words, but otherwise good programming. Until…
They switched to Christmas mode. 4 straight months of nothing but low quality mass produced Christmas movies (October 1 to end of January). Even now, in almost-June, they’re promoting a weekly Christmas night. It’s the endless holiday on that channel.
Grimm got it right
And here I was thinking they showed programs inspired by their Christmas tree ornaments.
:-P
Yes, there are Christmas time Christmas movies, then there is Christmas in July, now Christmas in Spring and then Christmas in Fall.
Robert likes to watch reruns of Frasier (which we are doing as I post) at around 2-3-4 am. They take them off for a month for their assorted Christmas movies – so for Christmas he got – yes, the complete Frasier set so he can watch them when Hallmark is not showing them.
The Christmas in July includes pushing their new for the year Christmas ornaments and cards which apparently begin being sold then.

Does The Hallmark Channel have Christmas movies?
They do… And how – https://youtu.be/sZcDxCh27Tw?t=177
Could be worse; one cable channel (El Rey) seems to specialize in kung fu and kaiju movies.
kung-fu kaiju sounds WAY better than formulaic holiday romance movies. I have an X and a Y chromosome, so maybe that’s affecting my opinion
