Anyone familiar with spycraft as a general topic would be loathe to involve a double agent. They’re notoriously unreliable.

Is a double agent any less reliable than any other kind of literary agent?
An agent works for you, or works for someone. A double-agent either works for you and pretends to work for someone else, or works for someone else and pretends to work for you. Which do you want?
