    Yeah, these are a couple of pretty minor teams (though I was surprised to learn they’re both Division I) and Arlo’s laying out the snacks like this is a bowl game.

    I’m sure it’s not correct, but my very first impression was that Arlo was a Tulsa fan, and Janice was nagging him about wanting to watch a football game rather than go to Services in the Temple. Maybe it was Bill’s subheader – we just had Jewish New Year, right?

    Tulsa-Temple was last night’s ESPN Thursday night game.

    Tulsa used to own the minor Missouri Valley conference in football but may be just as well known for losing 100-6 to Houston in a 1968 game that Dr. Phil claims to have played in. I believe it is the smallest school in Division 1 football by enrollment.

    Temple football may be best known for two things, getting kicked out of the old Big East in 2004 and for Bill Cosby playing there. Cosby had a stand up routine about how Hofstra used to clobber the Temple teams he played on.
