I think people will associate the spam with email, too much of something, noise. I’m focusing more on “a thousand components unidentifiable by us”.
“Attention spam”. I like! It describes all the indiscriminately reshared stuff that one Facebook friend always posts but I have to check to make sure she didn’t put some personal spin on it.
