Is there supposed to be another comic here, or am I overlooking something obvious.
James P. I think the next comic with the squirrel and the song lyrics are part of the “songchronicity”.
Yes, having worked down the page, I eventually got that. But the page puts the newer entries nearer the top, so I hit this one first, with no previous exposure to the other.
But I don’t see the synchonicity.
One is (supposed to be) funny because it’s a bunch of accurate song lyrics. The point of this one is that the song lyrics are entirely incorrect.
It’s like saying there’s synchronicity because in this strip there’s an airplane, and in this other one, there’s no airplanes.
Sally’s daughter has the right answer, both for this strip, and for the squirrel-infested strip in the previous post.
P.S. The best translation I’ve every heard for “karaoke” said that it means “tone-deaf drunk with microphone“.
P.P.S. re: “in-fested” – I hate hyphenation. And links that are neither highlighted nor underlined. And infinitely long pages. And space wasted on “Share This”. And missing enumeration. And (increasingly) this WordPress template.
P.P.P.S. And most of all: GoDaddy.
I thought I was able to get ride of the “Share This” button.
Of course there are several things I supposedly got rid of that still show up. I this WordPress just likes to mock me by making me thing I’m in control of anything.
Maybe the synchronicity is tenuous but the young girl’s repartee warrants the geezer tag.

Just in case anyone else needed a reminder of the Baker Street sax lick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bMT37ZlSwE
P.P.P.P.S. It’s worth noting that when Bill changed the template, it corrected that hyphenated “in-fested”. Yippie!
