P.S. Ooops – I just violated the “dual link” moderation trigger. Hope Bill rescues it soon.
GoDaddy torpedoed the site on January 4.
I knew we’d had a comic using this gag, but I wasn’t 100% it was the exact same comic. 99% maybe.
There are actually tons of CIDU pages stored in the Wayback Machine. Years worth.
Way back when I was in college I told my roommate I had just seen “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” and he sang “What’s it all about, Albee?”
I wonder whether you could recover the CIDU archive by reverse mining the Wayback machine. Well, maybe not you, but perhaps we could dragoon larK?
I keep a listing of comics I posted about to check back to when I come back the following week. If this was posted, I had not commented on it – and there is a long list going back to Dec 17.
I don’t think so. I think I was keeping up, and hadn’t seen it until now.
It did.
Here’s evidence there was a CIDU page before two weeks ago: https://cidutest.wordpress.com/
With a 10-year long gap, though…
First look for me, Bill.
Morning and good, great day to you, Mona.
Well, it was posted after Christmas 2017, in the dark period when the site was accessible only through larK’s magic.
I think this was posted to the old site before it went dark, and there was an extended discussion about the movie that was the antecedent to the line. However, it was the appearance of this GoComics rerun from 2014 that prompted me to post a comment about Wayno doing double duty for Dan Piraro.
